Where on earth do subscribed mods and assets go?

I have made one asset myself, and it is stored in C:\Users\Inge\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Assets as a .crp file

What about the ones I subscribe to on Steam? Where can I find those? I have looked everywhere.

In programfiles!? That's a weird way to go. I thought they'd at least be in My Documents or AppData. Thanks, at least I can find them now

They're only in programfiles because you decided to install Steam there. Workshop files usually go into Steam's content management folder system - which happens to be in its root folder.

Steam is portable.

I cant find my assets anywhere... they are nowhere. Are we quite sure they are saved as individual files ?

When you create a new asset, it goes in this folder
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Assets

the appdata folder was hidden ... no wonder I couldnt find the damn thing ! thanks !
