Hi all,

I bought from your gamersgate service rather than steam as you were cheaper, however i show as being on version 1.04. where are the patches to get me up to 1.07 which is the steam version?

Sorry if I misunderstood you, Nirvcyn. Your remark just reminded me of this one, several days ago in this forum:

I have both the Gamersgate and Steam version of King Arthur 1. Know the Steam version is unable to launch, so I went off and got the Gamersgate version, which runs flawlessly. However, the last patch for the gamersgate version is 1.04, which the Steam version is at 1.07 or so.

If its like the first game patch priority is for steam version first and if we are lucky we may get a patch with the gamersgate version or not ( like for the latest version of ka1 big patch that never came to gg half a year after its steam version release).

Wow thats awful, i feel a bit ripped off getting it on gamersgate, if i knew there would be little to no support here i would have got the steam version for a few ££ more :(
 
I also have a GamersGate version of the game. GamersGate offers Patch 1101 to 1102. My current version is 1.0.05, and when I'm trying to update, it says all of my .cfg files are of unknown version. Any help would be much appreciated since I'm writing a review of the game to the Finnish new technology oriented magazine called MikroBitti.

those of you who have the 1.0.05 version unfortunately need to do the following to get patch 1.1.02 to work:

- Uninstall the game
- Redownload KAII from Gamersgate
- Patch the build with patch 1.1.01
- Patch the build with patch 1.1.02

There is an issue in the 1.0.05 that prevents patches to work properly. The current KAII version on Gamersgate does not have this problem.

We already had to redownload the second version once because the first version you uploaded to gg had the mouse not displaying issue, do you mean that we must redownload again a third version of the 15gb game?
And also we don't have patch 1.1.01 available on gamersgate.

To answer to my own question, I have downloaded the game a third time from gamersgate, this third version is 1.1.02 so there is actually no need to patch once we have uninstalled redownloaded the 15gb and reinstalled that version.

omg this sucks. This game is huge and took me a few hours to dl :(

True of GG or Steam. Welcome to the modern age of gaming: you either get it in a box, or you wait for it to finish downloading until you grow old.
