Where's the war????

Hi,

I have played C.O.R.E. a few times now - started having a very easy and very unaggresive game. Germany annexed Austria, Czechslovakia and Slovakia declared independence...then nothing. In the end I had to get U.K. to be a Dictatorship and declare war on Ger (in 1945!)

Second and third games I have upped the ante each time with more aggression and harder games, but still no 2nd world War.

Any ideas? I quite fancy a war!

btw CORE is brilliant in all other ways - great tech tree (I like the need to get Industrial Recovery).

Hi,

I've never heard of this problem before. Usually the issue is too many countries wanting to fight. We're doing the Beta for version 0.30 right now so this looks like a nonissue here shortly. My suggestion is to make a save directlly prior to M-R Pact. If things don't turn out as desired load as GER and make sure the war starts with POL. Sorry about the troubles.

There is a known issue when playing the UK though, at least in 0.25. There won't be a DOW over Poland automatically, you have to do that yourself. Alternatively Germany may have opted for backing off over Poland.
