That hadn't occured to me, actually; until now I've still been thinking in terms of land and a "nation" whenever I think of myself as a player in the game. Thanks your Grace, that's been a big help :)

It took some time for me too, to understand the enormous possibilities of this concept. I thought of this yesterday evening, when I was on a mental crusade to zion :D . The timeframe of this game has so much potential. Oh I still have to fortify my claims in Jerusalem, back into my thoughts  .

The dynastic family element is quite interesting, but the church is also going to be quite cool. We don't yet know a lot about how the church will be handled, but my head is still racing with ideas.

The best thing about this game may just be the beautiful map. All those tiny provinces with which to forge a small little kingdom, duchy, or even just a county. All those titles, that's great. The only thing I'm hoping for is snow in the winter, I know that sounds silly. I don't really care. :)

To conquer a empire going from coast to coast.
To make your enemies tremble in fear. (and me tremble in beer.. ;) )
To make your familyname the envy of the world.
To crush mussulmen and mongols.
To build a stupefyingly wealthy realm with full castles, infra etc..
:D

Build an empire to rival Rome over the first half of the game, drive it into the ground in a single generation, and rebuild to a fraction of my former glory in the last half of the game. :p

I'm not sure if that is possible. It has been said earlier that it will be very difficult to maintain a large empire.

MP, playing a vassal, RPG type elements.

What a surprise!:D:p BTW, where on Earth is Halland?:)

Definitely the prospect of taking the cross and recapture the Holy Land. The Family thing will perhaps be of interest but there is a risk that it will be like the micromanagement feature in Vic, just a lot of klicking that distracts the interest from the big picture (read liberate the Holy Land) :)

Breeding experiments ;)

Perhaps you will be able to research certain techs that will make it possible to use parts of one of your superfluous kids that you cant marry away to create Frankenstein’s monster (same type as Conquistadors in EU2) and then send him as leader of a crusade to fight the infidels, wow :D

For me it will be the dynastic and political interactions. How these two things very much shape each other over this time period. I think that if its done well you will see many wonderful games where you get a 100 years war with different players than the norman/english and the french. This appears to be possible. Basicaly Dynastic succession wars that hopefully will change the shape of europe at the games end.

the whole concept, not a part of it,

ok, i confess I'm dying to play Flanders and Brabant

The securing my dynasty's power aspect ;)

I want to breed my dynasty to have OUTRAGEOUS facial features. Like enormous noses. And heavy chins, so they have trouble chewing.
