Hi guys,
I'm thinking of changing/modifying the following traits: HARELIP, CANONIZED, SAINT, CRUSADER, EMPEROR, SUNNI, SHIITE... I want to replace them with some of the following...
KNIGHT OF THE GARTER (Crusader) - generally the same effects
POPULAR SAINT (Canonized) - generally the same effects
SUSPECTED REFORMIST (Saint) - effects like Heretic Trait but instead of becoming Heretic becomes ORTHODOX (w/c will be modified into Reformist)
KING OF FRANCE (Emperor) - generally the same effects
SUSPECTED WITCH (Sunni) - same as Heretic - though, aren't there Witchcraft events in the game already?
WITCH (Shiite)
HOMOSEXUAL TENDENCIES (Harelip) - generally the same effects but, inspired by Veldmaarschalk's new traits mod I'd like this to be more standard - how would I go about replacing the harelip connections though? (or is this more trouble than it's worth?)
INDEBTED TO HEATHENS (Custom A) - to pay off debts, characters will be able to borrow money from a) Peers (w/c gives the peer a rivalry and possibly, if land is put up as collateral, a claim to territory), b) Merchants (w/c works for smaller debts and increases Burgher power, introduces new characters at court as the merchant asks you to promote his relatives, may give you claim over other lands if the merchant asks you to 'collect' for them as hired muscle) c) "Heathens" - ie. Jewish or Islamic moneylenders (aka.Shylock) (w/c can get you into trouble with the church or bring about mysterious deaths in the family when the time comes to extract their 'pound of flesh')
PATRON OF THE ARTS (Custom B) - through Purchasing Works of Art/Patronizing Artist events...
CHAMPION KNIGHT (Custom C) - through Tournament events and such...
The Homosexual Tendencies should trigger similar to Harelip - after a Lisp or a close friendship event. In any event it should simulate rumors not fact such as those going around for Edward II or France's Henry III. I think in game this is sort of simulated by 'Gaining a Friend' or 'Losing a Friend/Lover' w/c is not restricted to the opposite sex...
I'm still slugging away at my War of the Roses/Tudor Period modification and this is what it's for...
Thanks in advance!
