Forget about EiC, it's bad.

My sentiments exactly. And that comes from a guy who really enjoyed (even when a lot of small things bothered me) Tortuga by Acarone. The original one not that Two Treasures BS...

So, when I was trying to figure out what games to get on sale, I noticed EU Rome out there. I like the Rome era for gameplay. But it didn't seem to make much sense to go backwards two versions just to get an era.

Is there value to getting the old Rome game to play or maybe I should just wait and see if they provide something in the future. I'm afraid if I got the game I would be too frustrated missing the things from EU3 to enjoy the older release.

On the other hand, I play the Total War:Rome game. I had gotten a couple of the follow up games hoping they would be improvements but keep going back to the Rome original.

Actually Rome came out after EU3.
I'm not a real big fan of the serie since i prefer the scope of EU3 or Victoria.

But if you should get it, you should get the gold version which includes Vae victis which seems to be add a lot of good things to the original rome.

Rome can be fun for some. Alas not for me. I find the UI too confusing, family politics strange and basically not much fun.

But it has quite decent number of fans, so maybe it's just me :)

Make sure to get VV!

Finally got all the games downloaded and installed (at least on my main computer). Now I'm like a kid in a candy store. Which game to start with first. I think I'll try Elven Legacy. That intro drew me in.

Now I have a good problem. Too many games to pick from. It's going to be hard to find time to play all these. Oh well, I guess that's a good problem and better than being bored with the games I had.

After some looking and thinking and checking my account, I went ahead and bought Mount & Blade Warband and Supreme Ruler 2020 Gold. Hopefully it'll give me some fun! It feels a bit weird to buy them today though, I'll be out of town without any decent computer for over three weeks, and when I get back I'll be getting Starcraft 2 and Vicky 2, so I guess I'll just save these for later :)

At the start of the sale you only had three icons, now you have 11. Wow, what a jump :D I wish I had paypal :(

I was a little iffy. I did a bunch of research. But from everything I've seen so far, I'm happy. Appear to be quality products that I can get tons of life out of.

It's going to be a long time before I go to the movies or rent a DVD  And my birthday and Christmas presents already accounted for by this move :D

It's over already? I was considering FTG for a while but guess it's too late now...
