I've tried the Alpha mod on Steam workshops. I like it as it seems to be much more in depth than the base game.

However, I've been a fan of Naselus' work since PDM on Vic2, and I see he has created "Relativity" here.

Has anyone played either or both? What do you recommend? Parsing the changelogs is a bit much for me, but I'd like some highlights of pros/cons if anyone can help.

Thank you.

Last time i tried out Relativity (2-3 Weeks ago), it was a rather strange experience for me, mostly due to the bombardment of popup notifications, the new resource system which i personally dislike, and overall feeling of being incoherent due to many different WIP areas.

I honestly would advice to give Naselus some more time to work on it, something of such scale needs time to polish. Either wait for his Steam Release, or try it now to see if the current content does tickle your interest.

(If Naselus is reading this: Sorry, wasnt my cup of tea)

Thanks. I haven't played vanilla Vic2 since it originally launched, because as far as I'm concerned PDM is the definitive version of the game. So, I have high hopes for Relativity. But, I think it needs more time. Not to suggest Naselus won't create a fantastic product when he's done, but I think part of the problem lies in so much of Stellaris still needing core flesh from Paradox.

I mean, this is a fantastic game and I really enjoy it, but I can't help but echo many others who found that what was promised seemed to fall a bit short of what was delivered. Or, maybe our expectations were too high.
