Which mod is better? WATK or MYMAP?

Having played Watk for the last couple of weeks, I feel that MyMap (I only play it in combo with AGCEEP) is a better and more fun map to play with. The Watk graphics are, well, ... ugly (hope ppl don't notice that word :rolleyes: ), the AI is really dumm and doesn't do much, provinces are way too rich and some are way way too small. All in all MyMap/AGCEEP is much more balanced than Watk. With Watk I get the feeling it was created solely for MP. These are the main reasons I prefer MyMap/AGCEEP over Watk. If only those AGCEEP guys would hurry up and finish their map... But at this rate I fear EU3 is out much sooner then their map :( .

What? :eek: You think WATK graphic is more ugly than MyMAP? :confused:

Ursäkta? But I belive that we all disagree, you may think what you think but I find WATK to be stiff and hard. Så känslolös och tråkig :/
 
WATK province borders are FAR to straight IMO. While in MyMap, they are more curvy and with it mixed with AGCEEP it is a greater experience. There are always the WATK fanatics who refuse to change their mind, but I just find MyMap better.

Hmmm... I think MyMAP looks to fantasifull, for some reason.

Yes, I agree with AGCEEP but there's a few things I want to point out;

1. MyMAP's rivers looks like... I don't know what...
2. The same can be said about the shading.
3. Weird Terra Incognita. Is it reaaaaaally necessary to point out that there's an uncrossable desert in Palestine province? :/
4. You should get a final version of MyMAP, and then look at bugfixing. AGCEEP isn't fully converted.
5. WATK is a lot less buggy.
 
Sorry, but not nice for others to write on Swedish language!

Watk and Mymap are both good mods, no one of them are perfekt.
A mod to Eu2 can never be perfekt, but in Eu3 we will be able of changing more like we want.

I am more for Watk.
Why do I like Watk more then Mymap; "The graphic"

And the name Mymap sucks.

But Mymap are also a really good mod.

But no one of them have a good Scandinavia, In my eyes.

You want an independent Finnmark? ;)

Anyway, I think MyMAP's Scandinavia is better, while WATK leaves a lot to desire...

But I think MyMAP's Scandinavia is enough.

i always found if finnmark and those provinces in the north were there they always ended up with bremen or someone random like that after denmark lost a war - this happens with iceland and the faeroes in almost every game

Agree here. The only thing which is better in MyMap than in WATK is Arabia. While MyMap have loads of bugs, I don't see any bugs in WATK.

the only major bug in watk is where occasionally the red borders don't show up. this is corrected i think though
