Hey what are your thoughts about the 4 units that Eugen announced on their road map? Lets have some interresting and funny thoughs in here?
I bet it will be a extra russian division with just 4 units.
T34 100 p
countless spam inf 5 p
IL2/ IL10 100 p
IS 2 200 p

Income 100/ 105/140

(what more do you need to fullfile your dream of a red army offensive? But what about the call that their will be 2 of them for each side? Well I think thats just a well placed decoy.)

Maybe it will be a Sherman Crocodile, an Archer (british tank hunter) or a B-25 for Allies.
I am hoping the Germans will get a Nashorn, Hetzer or Pak44, but I'm not sure if they were used in Normandy.

Sherman crocodile would be interesting, archer just arrived after Normandy on the continent (as far as I know), b25 might be interesting. AS for the Nashorn and hetzer I think they were just used in the east (the hetzer at least till later in the war). Pak 44 I am not sure, but also more likely to be a East front weapon (heavier tanks + bigger fields and scales of battle).

The SH 18/3 Sf would be a cool thing especially for the 716., because they have a lack of long range artillery.

I can't find which unit actually used these SPG's

The 16 10.5cm leFH 18/3 (Sf) auf Geschützwagen B2(f) / Pz.Kpfw B2 740(f) were issued to the 1.Abt./Artl.Rgt.93 of the 26th Pz Div,then forming in France Sept'42.
Before being transferred to the Italian Front, early Summer of '43, the 1.Abt./Artl.Rgt.93 had converted to the far more reliable 'Wespe'.
The 15 remaining operational 10.5cm le.F.H.18/3 (Sf.) auf G.W.B2(f)s were to be transferred to 1.Abt/Artl.Rgt.190 of the 90th PzGr Div, re-forming on Sardinia.Whether they would go on to serve with the 90th PzGr Div during the Italian campaign is unknown.

T-34-100 was never fielded during the war, one prototype was built and the initial 100mm gun broke the turret ring and had unacceptable recoil, another gun was added that did pass tests but this was well after the war when the superior T-44 was around anyways.

None after 1942 if I recall. And only on the eastern front.
They were regarded as unreliable and scrapped as soon as possible.

No B2 SPG, but we've chosen one for the 716. ID with this issue in mind ... ;)

The Flammenwerfer auf Pz.Kpfw.B2(f) were sent to the East Front (June'41) without the supporting 10.5cm leFH 18/3 (Sf) auf Geschützwagen B2(f) .The Panzer-Abteilung 102 was disbanded by mid July'41. German reports on these vehicles..simply put they sucked.

The 10.5cm leFH 18/3 (Sf) auf Geschützwagen B2(f) went into production between Jan-March'42,with 16 produced.
By Sept'42 they were issued to the 1 Abt/Artl Reg 93 of the 26th Pz Div,then forming/training in France.
German reports on these vechicles could also be summed up as ..they sucked.

The 93rd Artl Reg reported on May 31st 1943 that 14 vehicles were operational,1 in repair, and were being used for training purposes,as 12 Wespes had been issued as replacements.

As the 26th Pz Div was transferred to the Italian Front (July'43) the G.W. B2(f)s were ordered transferred (July'43) to the 1Abt/Artl Reg 190 of the 90th PzGr Div,then in training/re-forming on Sardinia.Whether or not the 90th PzGr received and or used these vehicles is unclear.

Or am I wrong?
