I made decent progress recently tough it's not enough for the mod to have any pre-HOI3 existence I'm sure of it. I hope that some people will give it a try, even if everyone says that HOI2 will be obsolete, because it's just a beginning of a big thing. The best thing I can do for now is to continue to work and actually finish it without having to much dissent crippling down the work because at this moment feel quite discouraged.... oh crap, back to work then.

Do not wory, I'm staying with Hoi2. Hoi3 is to much for my computing machine and I will continue to play those great mods, probably including yours.

It does seems good. It's quite ASB, as they say in ATL.com (aka "impossible"), but that's not a point here. I'll try it and let you know. :3

ATL.com? Is it possibly alternatehistory.com you mean? In any case, I'd mostly agree on the ASB thing not being important here. Mostly meaning I'd still pick on the little stuff, but big unrealisticness isn't a problem.;)
Well, unless the big stuff means the Qing are around, then it'd still get picked on (what is with the Qing and HoI2 AH mods?).

Well the first page background is obsolete, I'm just too busy modding to have it properly rewritten, check the AAR and its evolution for a better accurate thing even if it's progressing very slowly.

IMHO talking about alternate history (I'm studying history) : What hasn't happened isn't possible nor realistic, period. Tough like my teacher said to me, it's interesting to investigate alternate paths to understand why they haven't actually happened and to understand what history is really about. Reading a lot of books on the subject alongside with alternate history books (Stirling, Moorcock) with this impossible setting in mind was very enlightening.

For those that may be wondering about a port of this mod to HOI3... for the moment I'll say it is absolutely out of question. The new engine hasn't convinced me despite some of its obvious qualities. I'll not rethink about that until a good year has passed.

It is going well, tech-tree finished (requires a bit of fixes and tests), countries ministers/leaders/tech-teams not so far from completion : that was a huge job, almost every country has something new/improved, events are on the good road. I tried to make some tweak to the AI so it behaves a bit better than in vanilla.

Glad, too, to read that. Theer should be a badge to award the dedicated mooders of this forum.
