Seriously, despite these two accounts being tied, I cannot link them fully? And the new launcher is so that I can't change my mod playset. Why?

Do not swear in these forums.

In what way are your accounts not fully linked please?

For the launcher problem, assuming it is HOI4 you are having this problem with, Please try the following:

- unsubscribe from all mods in BOTH the Steam Workshop and the Paradox mod site mods.paradoxplaza.com
- delete the folder Documents/Paradox Interactive/HOI4/mod/
- delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/HOI4/mods_registry.json (if present)
- delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/HOI4/launcher-v2.sqlite (if present)
- run the game up and check the launcher is okay with no mod or other errors
- subscribe to a few mods

- run the game up and see if those mods are now available to you.

I hope that does it for you!

I don't know. When I play the games on Steam and try and access Paradox, this is the account that come up, but when I try to log in, it doesn't compute. When I try to link them through the Paradox website, it says my Steam account "in universe already has a connection." So, not sure what to do about that.

It's CK3. So... I have to unsubscribe from all the mods, which I don't remember what they are, delete all my folders and see if maybe that fixes it? Maybe? Cuz, this was not an issue at all last year.

That means you have some other Paradox account that you previously linked this Steam account to:

The launcher is very different this year, and the current version is having a problem like you describe for many, but not all, users. It seems to relate to mods that no longer exist. Please follow the steps above, suitably modified for CK3, they may well help.
