Honestly if you build your domes properly ang create educational specialised domes you'll have a lot of martian native children in no time and you'll quicly have no need to use the earth pool except for very special ones. Plus with school sanatoriums even morpheus project you will have great martians and they will never be earth sick by any means.
It even starts to be unmanageable late game cause you can't follow the growth (except of course by reducing services from domes to forbid them to make children but it's difficult if you want them to be ok).
I think teenagers don't want children so you can create teenagers domes with heavy services then reduce services for adults a bit.
