High efficiency oxygen production requires a lot of energy or space. Wouldn't want it running on just solar cells + wind turbines or it would take up massive areas.
For rockets the extra oxygen is needed to balance out fuel
xidiser ratio otherwise your really not getting much bang for your buck. (water gas shift)
I would also like to see a sabatier reactor as well maybe to reduce oxygen requirements for dust storms or power requirements.
Makes me too wonder why a 'MOXIE' reactor would use water? NASA is using solid oxide electrolysis (i.e brute force approach) which doesn't need water.
Could the developers allow it to work normally with a boost when connected to a water supply? Would make a lot more sense for the system.
The hydrogen would definitely be useful for polymers (fingers crossed it will be implemented with the polymer production side).
Also metal extraction unless you want to make even more oxygen.
Module system? No extra pipes just that when you connect something to the network it allows modules to be built on other buildings. Reduction in resource/power requirements/increased production rate etc. Something just to show how your infrastructure is becoming more complex an interdependent.
