Why was my map banned from PDX mods?

I had a map called Newport, and that's all it was. No Profanity or anything objectionable. Had 1.2k subs. Why was it banned? It doesn't say. This is ridiculous, and yet another example of why Steam Workshop is the better choice.

Nope, nothing beyond what you see there. It sucks every time I try to get back into this game something like this happens. Why even bother at this point this game is dead.

Based on your snapshot, I see two possibilities: the description where it reads "sucks" and your alias using the word "kills". I'm not familiar with the terms and conditions, but usually any word that can have an offensive meaning in certain context is automatically banned from this kind of platform. I'd begin by changing the description and see what happens. If the problem persists, try with a different alias.

Sorry to hear about the frustration, I can suggest you check your email as when a mod is banned an email is sent out and there is an option to appeal a ban if you think it was banned by mistake.

I received no such email, looked in spam even. It's the same email thats linked to this account.

There is a known issue with items being reported as banned when in fact they've simply been deleted, even if it's by the mod's author. Since you are the author that begs the question of what happened to it, but it would explain the lack of correspondence from the moderators.

I figured it out. If you go to the mods website you can see the reason and it was put as spam (wtf?) IDK why I never got an email.

I appealed, but that's really annoying to have to do for no reason.
