Hello all. I'm beginning my first game using the WIF mod but I believe the music is not working correctly. The event kicks in asking me what type of music I want, but when I picked "axis", and the music/speeches option it only played the generic HOI2 music. Other that that the mod seems to be working correctly. I hit f12 then event 10 enter and still the same vanilla music. Any ideas? Thx...
 
Thx for the quick reply Fernando but I'm still having problems (I'm not too bright). I downloaded the music mod. My WIF folder is in Steam/Steamapps/common/heartsofiron2complete/doomsday/scenarios/WIF.
Using Winrar I clicked on the music.avi folder and extracted it into the above path. Is that right? I'm still not hearing the music. Sorry I'm having such difficulty figuring this out.

You have to extract it to Doomsday folder (it will overwrite vanilla music and avi folders).
Sorry for the misunderstanding, some people like to rename their Doomsday folder to WIF, which is why I suggested to install it there. :)

Please let me know if that works for you
 
Well I extracted it to the Doomsday folder, didn't work. I tried the HOI2 Complete folder, didn't work. I also tried extracting it into Doomsday/scenarios/WIF and it didn't work. I can see the music.avi folder in the WIF folder but no music. Oh well, I'll just play with the vanilla music I guess I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.Thx for the responses Fernando!

Is there any way to find out the exact differences between vanilla HOI2 and this mod? I'm looking at the research screen and it already looks different, with certain nations at the top of a research group. Looks great so far!
