Hello!

I'm using the WIF platinum mod, which is the best mod i've tried so far, but some hours ago I experienced my first problem with this mod.

I began playing as Nationalist Spain at 19 July 1936 ( I began playing as oman and then i changed..)

The SCW went wonderful, and by the end of march (1937) i was able to annex Republican Spain, and here begins the problem... as i was thinking about the units i'd construct for my next wars, after annexing Republican spain, the game crashed.

What a spot of luck i thought! i saved just before annexing them, so i entered the game again and loaded, and annexed again...and it crashed again...:mad:

A few seconds after annexing them the game always crashes...
I'd like to know if someone has experienced the same problem as me, and could give me a hint to continue playing..:)

i think the trouble is ur playing WiF and not something good like mod 33
 
I played WiF as Germany and Soviet Union both went fine for me.

The HoI game is prone to crash if certain event chain got screwed up while you playing as some country. For example as Switzerland in one game it will always crash when the Soviet Union started release puppets in Europe. I had to reload as Soviet Union to get over that period and get back to playing as Switzerland.

A) That's just stupid, both mods are on the same level of awesomeness. The fact that you get your ass handed to you is not a reason to not like a mod.
B)Only post something relevant.


Now to the author: Capture all of the Rep's VP provinces and switch back to Oman, letting the AI annex for you. Might do the trick.

Could you be a bit more specific please? i'm not very experienced in changing files...

I had already tried to let the AI annex rep spain, but when i take nat spain again, it crashes...

I load as nat spain, and as soon as 3 hours (in the game) passes, or i click into the production, research, etc. it crashes...

I've found too that if i take control of rep spain when they still have vp, it crashes too after doing the same thing as with nat spain (few hours of gameplay, clicking into production...)
