It's not in the wiki with the rest of the events. Anyone have any info on this ? Chances for rocket failures ? Can it affect the rocket i started with or only the experimental one i'm getting ? (So i could just accept, scrap and be better of than denying it, or i could send it on unmanned missions)
Anyone know anything ?

The wiki definitely needs update for many of the story bits, as I don't see some too when I come across them when playing.

For the Experimental Rocket event, when I undertook the task, one result I've got was that some 10+ Sols later, a rocket supply from another colony I've requested exploded, thus destroying that rocket and its supplies. I don't know if similar events could happen if you load cargo or passenger rockets yourself, and this may simply boil down to probability.

In my experience, it will always explode. I rename it "Experimental Rocket" and use it solely to export to Earth. I think there is a variation if you have the Rocket Engineer commander and there is the worst option if peeps are flying on it (from memory). I always rename my Rockets to Starship #X (I play SpaceY) for this very reason.
