What you guys think on the possibilities of a new Paradox Clausewitz game beeing announced in PDXCON in October???
Technically, 0%

Since all of the new games use the new Jomini engine.

But Victoria 3 will probably be announced. I mean, they SHOULD be announcing Majesty 3.

But it'll be Victoria 3, because they're lazy hacks who can't think outside the box and they'll finally cave to the meme that is Victoria 3.

(Kidding, I want Victoria 3, too.)

Multiple projects is my guess, with CKII development the way it is Doomdark is likely leading another project, we know Wiz is leading a project, and it's very likely Chris King is leading one.
Maybe he was, but his credentials says he's not a G Director anymore

We know that paradox have atleast 2 secret Projects that have been in development for a few years now, on other hand it is possible that they will take extra time with these ones to avoid they getting rated like Imperator: Rome.

Damn, they've just confirmed in the twitter video is not Victoria 3. F*** this, people. My hype for the PDXcon just dropped to 0. Im no interested in no fantasy game.

Hell, they said for years that they weren't making Europa Universalis: Rome 2, but effectively made it under the name of Imperator: Rome. They could always make a Vicky 2 successor without calling it Victoria 3 and get away with it.

So, they have confirmed it will be a brand new grand strategy game...

Bromze Age?
East Asia CK2?
Modern era?
Post-Roman world?
Fantasy world?

Victoria 3 confirmed then. If I remember right (and it could just be the Mad Cow setting in), the denials of Victoria 2 got very heated right before it was announced.

As it is a new ip and not going to be a small scale game like Sengoku it is most likely a fantasy game, especially since Stellaris is their most successful game ever. Likely it is going to be closest to CK2 to apply well to fantasy roleplayers while keeping the strategic elements of a grand strategy game.

Sounds like fun. I think I've seen a fantasy grand strategy being mentioned in the forums from time to time, just as long as it's not about boring elf/orc/dwarves/etc.
