Of all the time period, the late antique period (circa 280s-630s) is one of the major period that is not covered by any Paradox game this far.

Will there be any interest in developing games for this period? Or will this period be part of an existing game series like Imperator Rome or Crusader Kings?

I really wish that we'd get something akin to Imperator Rome again, at least in time period. Maybe a cross between Imperator Rome and CK3? In terms of gameplay that is.
I'd love to play as some Sumerian city state and then working to unlock writing and whatever, would be fun.
