Will there be any graphical updates with the console edition to the game?

And perhaps to the PC version also as well? Since I am sure most of us wouldn`t mind, say more ship and station types for the different species and more polished battle graphics overall, since at least in my latest game things like ship explosions for example could really be a bit more spectacular.

Of course to run it in a consol it needs an Ascii based Ui.

I doubt there will be graphical updates to the console and I'm pretty sure the graphics in general will look worse as they will probably have to be set to a lower setting because of consoles ( Not sure about Pro and X ) not really being able to run games like this very well. For example, if you compare cities skylines console version to pc version the console version looks a lot worse due to things ling render distance and the performance drops quite fast from having a decent size city. Honestly looking forward to the console release but not expecting it to look as good or perform as well.
