Will this game have samurai bears ?

Alot of people bought Stardrive and Stardrive 2.
Both games was bad, but people bought them because they had cool samurai bears.

Will this game have samurai bears or any other cool poster boy race?

I heard that it was really bad compared to the first.

For me it was other way. First was devoid of any content tedium marathon, in 90's there were lot of games which demo versions had more depth and content. Second was decent, if glitchy. Which sure tells a lot of overall state of 4x space strategies nowadays.

Btw. new Master of Orion will have bears, though not samurai ones (not exactly surprising as the Stardrive author borrowed space bears from MoO).
