I've played this game for awhile on an XP, but now i have a new laptop to take to college in August. So I would like to know, will this game work with Vista 64?

Yes, it works just fine in Vista 64bits. I use Vista 64bit on my main rig and the game runs perfectly.
I think some people even said it crashes less in Vista.
