Hello.
As right now seems to be the time to post feature requests, here is one: In CK2, after your previous character dies, you always continue playing as the heir to your primary title. This is fine, since it allows you as the player to identify with the "country" you are playing as, which is important for a grand strategy game, even a very character-focused one like CK.
...However, there are some situations where I would have *really* liked to play as one of my other children instead. There is already a hint of that in CK2 with the strong claim duels for tribals, which means that if your character dies in a duel to the death with a sibling in order to unite the realm, then you can continue playing as the victorious sibling. I would like to expand that to other situations, so that when your old character dies, then you get the option to decide who you want to continue playing as.
This way, you could for example go from being an emperor back to being a count without having your dynasty lose the empire. Things like that would be a welcome change of pace sometimes, at least in my opinion.
What would be your opinion on a feature like that?
