Hello!

So I tried to launch EU4 with some mods to play with friends and I got stuck on the EU4 title screen. The graphics did not update (despite being able to hear menu navigation sound effects). I clean re-installed, and now I don't hear the menu navigation sound effects. dxdiag is attached (along with some settings files and misc logs).

Here's what I tried:
  • Tried to launch with all display options.
  • Clean re-install of the game.
  • Validated game files.
  • Repaired/installed/downloaded/updated the visual cpp redistributables and directX.
  • Added EU4 to the exception lists for my anti-virus.
  • and a bunch of other smaller stuff that I don't really remember.
As an aside, I have tried launching the game with and without mods and it doesn't work. Also: error.log is empty, exceptions.log doesn't exist.

Thanks in advance!

You have a problem with your nVidia driver or card:
Fault bucket LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Turing, type 0
Event Name: LiveKernelEvent
Please:

- uninstall that driver and all other nVidia software
- reboot
- install August 2022 https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
- reboot again

I hope that does it for you!
