Windows 7 64 Bit

So I went to steam and bought the Complete HOI2 set...I download it and I reboot the computer. All is well in my world, until I try to run it....I get the Paradox start, the nifty title view ect, and the game start screen....select a country....tell it to go and.....BAM it crashes like a lead zepplin. Any suggestions for my next go at it?

NAvigate to the Steam folder on program files or in program files (x86). Locate the subfolder your Hoi2 game is installed into. IF this folder contains a subfolder named avi please rename it to avis or remove it. You may need Administrator rights to do this.
Reason for rename/removal: incompatible/too old version of the binkplayer (to play the intro video).
