Windows 7 dosnt work with this game

I guess whenever I play this game it crashes after a while, and I believe its because I have windows 7 and this game was not made to work with it, it really pissed me off cuse I spent good money on this game, via steama and I could have spent my 10 dollars on another game, probally not a PAradox game cuse they are more a lot more then 10 dollars, but I love Vicky 2, . But anyways I just wanted to know if there is anyway to fix this or anyway to get my money back, which I know is 99.9% no cuse steam can be evil like that.

Same. Maybe it has something to do with your hardware. The tech forum might help.

I also use Rome with Win7 (32-Bit) and haven't encountered any major crashes. Be sure to update to the latest patch and latest hardware drivers and post specific info in the tech support forum (as others have said). I don't use the Steam version, though, so it may be a problem relating to that. Not sure, though.

I use Window 7 64-bit and it works fine.Took some tweeking to get some mod to work but w7 is way better than Vista (shudder).

Could you be more specific about why this game isn't working? Are you getting a error message of some kind?

no this is just odd then, and btw I have the Steam version so it auto-updates.

What version and checksum do you see? They should show on the main game menu, but some folks can only see them by starting an MP game as host.
