I just discovered an interesting fact while downloading 1.05c.
The absolutely standard looking Windows download progress indicator, the same one that comes up when downloading from a link in Internet Explorer...
...is, with no indication, linked to the CK2 Launcher when "manually" downloading updates.
Got to 98% on the download, figured I was about to install the patch, so I should close the Launcher... which caused the download to stop and the progree indicator to close, without any confirmation or warning.
With the 25 to 35 Kbps download rate I'm getting from Paradox, this pretty much means that about 25 minutes were wasted due to an easily avoidable design flaw. On a normal download, closing the browser window that had the link does not cancel and close the download itself -- why / how would anyone expect closing the Launcher to cancel and close the download?
