[Windows] Game crashes on specific date

Hello!

My current game crashes to desktop on the same date (2415-08-06) no matter what I am doing/looking at after reloading. The crash logs show Unhandled exception C0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION) at address 0x00007FFC942D90B0. Tried updating drivers and running in admin mode but no luck

Running version 3.10.1 on Windows through Steam

Mods: none
DLC: All except Astral Planes

Any help appreciated thanks!

I had the same issue but on mac. It seems like a ton of people are having it. Sadly there is no workaround that i know of

That is unfortunate. I've looked around and if it's also when the calendar hits a specific date for you too it might point to a certain event triggering causing it. Are you in the late game as well?

I tried loading the save on a different computer and still same crash

Not the late game like an hour or two of game time and i checked for an event or smth but noting i can see.
And yes it is always on the same date. Happened on 3 different games all on different dates

I fixed my problem by rolling back to 3.10.0 and then running the game until the calendar day passes that fateful date. Saved the game, closed and loaded 3.10.1 back and reloaded the game. Seems to be running fine now. Hopefully this helps others!

I guess the issue was introduced in 3.10.1 for any devs that might be reading

If on the Steam version, right click on the game in your Steam Library, properties, betas.

No other edition can roll back.
