Windows: Recently purchased DLC not activating

Hi guys,

Win10, Stellaris Libra v3.3.2 (8718) Paradox launcher 2.0.

I wished to install Federations DLC, but noticed that I was being directed to Microsoft to purchase. I had some problems making purchases before, so I decided instead to buy the Lithoids species pack to make sure everything worked before spending extra money for the DLC.

It didn't work.

The launcher says I didn't purchase Lithoids pack, and the in-game icon also says not purchased.

Below is my purchase receipt.

If you could tell me what I'm doing wrong, or guide me through the process I'd be most grateful.

From what I can see in your account you own the Steam version of the Stellaris base game. That means you can only buy the Steam version of DLCs, the MS versions will never work.

Please seek a refund for that purchase, and buy from Steam or one of our authorised resellers:

In one of the BUY NOW ads at the bottom of the launcher page? Because when I click on one of those it opens up the Steam store.

Agreed. Must have been the beta version of the launcher.

I don't use Steam to launch the game, rather prefer to use the Paradox launcher.
