Greetings all!

You might be aware of our Faerun mod for CK2, and we are now ready to announce that we have begun work on a version for CK3 as well!

It is nowhere near ready for any sort of release, however, and we don't even have a timetable to give you so please temper your expectations.

In fact, we are so early in our development of this version of the mod we don't have any screenshots to share! But here is what we can share:
* Our map will have roughly the same dimensions as the default CK3 map. As a comparison, that is twice as wide as the map for the CK2 version of Faerun.
* The scope will be quite bigger, going from Maztica to the far land of Wa, including all of Faerûn, Zakhara and Kara-Tur in the process.

We are of course always looking for more modders, so if you want to help, just drop by our Discord and talk to us. It is also fairly easy to learn if you don't know how to mod but want to, so don't be discouraged!

Will this be the mod thread? If so, I will definitely put it on watch.

Are most people from CK2 team working on the CK3 version as well?
We're drawing on the same general team of devs, yes. Because the two versions are at radically different stages of development at the moment, a lot of us are consulting on one project while actively working on the other. It's to be expected that people will shift from one to the other as different development needs arise.

Nice timing with Baldur's Gate 3 too https://emojipedia.org/smirking-face/

I'll be following this mod. Maztica to Kara-Tur? Damn
It's not that big in scale compared to the CK2 mod. The eastern edge of the map there is actually very close to the eastern coast of Kara-Tur.

The map here is bigger,of course, because CK3 itself has a bigger map. But it utilizes the exact same dimensions as CK3's own map.

Please let me know when this is up I've been trying to play my own version of this with "elf destiny" making sub braces of elves.

The one thing that can make CK3 more fun is a fantasy world.

Unfortunately, this project is dormant for the foreseeable future. CK3's requirement for 3D character models is one that our team is currently unable to fulfil, and we are preoccupied with making the CK2 version be the best it can be. Which is currently going well, and I heartily recommend that you check it out!
