Yeah I decided to make the Islamic Federation would be a off shoot nation with events. But the name at the start of the game will be Organization of Islamic Cooperation or OIC (Arab federation is easier to type). I was thinking at the start the UCS will have internal rebellion in Peru, Venezuela (as a result of Hugo Chavez coup), Columbia (drug trade problems), Cuba (communist hold outs from the failed revolution in this timeline), and Parts of Central America. When dissent hits up or an certain event hits, independence will happen. In other regions North Korea will also have rebellion attempts from the forced reunification, Japan from dissatisfaction from lack of representation in national affairs, and Ireland (from Irish Nationalist). The capital of the OIC will either be Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem, Baghdad (no gulf war in this timeline), or Ankara (Turkey is one of the major powers of the region).

UCS must be formed witout Australia and the other Pacific states. Thay can be formed into some kind of Pacific Island Federation. Thay can act as a second theater in a war versus Russian Empire. This way UCS will be weaker, and will have one more fraction in the game to paly with.
Perhaps instead Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea could join together by event and seceed from the UCS. Perhaps the event being triggered by the South American revolts.
From here the UCS could have the choice to invade them, or neogotiate for their return to the UCS or let them go.
The new Oceanic nation could then have options like:
Joining ASEAN
Forming an alliance of ASEAN, PRC, maybe India? A sort of industry - tech pact for the isolationist nations, maybe intervening in a major war, or starting one against the UCS or Russia.
Maybe a territorial Oceania claiming all UCS territory in the Pacific, threatening ASEAN and PRC.
Good idea. The chain of events will be interesting, giving the player good amount of options to choose.
And whats with Claims? Got Europe Claims on the European Parts of Russia. And the Islamics on Pakistan? etc.
Wakeminister will be added in 1.03, so you can have a rotating presidency system for the EU by then. I'm coding one for CG mod, so I shall donate the code whenever it is done.
On the matter of the UCS and its ministers, I can see where the idea of an "Anglo-Sphere" would allow for the UK to remain important within the union, as in keeping its monarchy in 'power', but honestly America is undoubtedly the single largest member of the group, both in economy, and population, and it just seems wrong that the monarchy would keep any kind of influence over the entire country. Maybe in order to weaken the UCS and make the monarchy and various events (such as the Irish question, and the SA revolts) more dynamic, you could release Australia, the UK, NZ, Northern Ireland as puppet states for the UCS, this would allow for the various events to have multiple turnouts, like the UCS could leave North Ireland in the rain if the EU pushes claims, while the UK could decide to break off and defend its integral territory, possibly drawing in the other commonwealth states away from the UCS orbit.

To answer some questions the EU has territorial claims on Finland, Poland, the Baltics, Northern Ireland, and Bessarbia. Ireland is the most vocal supporter of the Irish Question, and will have events to have the IRA launch terrorist attacks against the UCS. The EU will not declare war on Russia but can send support for the various nationalities in European occupied Russia to declare independence. On the other hand the Russians can if this pisses off the Tsar too much. The UCS has a military alliance with EU will stand by the EU if Russia declares war.
OIC has claims on the Kashmir region, and by the start of the mod the OIC has the option to launch the Kargil War. The Kargil War has the option to escalate if the OIC refuses to accept the loss. The OIC has claims on East Pakistan (Bangladesh), and the OIC can send Mujahideen to liberate the region. The OIC can turn into the Islamic Federation, when the year 2000 comes and they hold elections and if the fundamentalist elements win election and seize power. There is a random chance that the secular countries in the OIC will not accept this and may either secede or declare war. The OIC also has trouble in occupied Israel and are fighting Israeli freedom fighters, backed by the UCS. This will lead to an event to launch a 9/11 attack leading to war against the UCS.
The Russians don't have claims on any parts of the EU, but claims on the UCS for the Sakhalin Oblast. This is not an important issue on foreign policy but is a source of conflict. If Japan declares independence and joins ASEAN the Russians may see this as a oppurtunity to seize the Sakhalin Oblast and declare war. The Russians may also declare war on the OIC as a punitive war to stop terrorist attacks in central asia.

You don't need a gaming rig, the game works on my netbook (Atom, 1GB, Ion Integrated Graphics). In fact, I developed a majority of my CG Mod on my netbook.

It's about 3 hours to a second in DH Full with CCIP from memory.. I can test 1936 FULL/1945 in a bit and give you the answer. My netbook outperforms the family laptop from 2006 though, which could run ARMA....that would be a better benchmark for your curiosity, but I don't have DH on that.
I really wish DH could use my multiple cores on the desktop. :/

I find Emperor Putin and president/prime minister Greenspan to be hilarious and I don't know why. Anyway, mod looks like fun, though it baffles me that one country can keep hold over all of the America's for any length of time with huge economic differences between north and south without being the least bit authoritarian or Oceania-esque.

On the response on President Greenspan I picked him because I just like the name (don't know much about him I am from Iceland ). On Putin I can see him running for a third term once medvedev is finished (and lets face it he would make a awesome james bond villian or tsar). I actually made the UCS a british empire that kept the states, it would be hard if the brits were in total control of the UCS so i decided to make a quarter of the ministers british, a quarter of them american, a quarter of them from australia, and the last of them from latin america. If you want to see a country with economic disparity on different sides you can see it in immediate reunified Germany after the cold war and it still continues a bit today. Actually the game worked fine on my macbook but then my toddler spilled milk on it, making me fallback to those super small mac books with crappy memory, and thats why its going to be delayed.

Ministers are almost done for all nations, most of my work is just creating events, backgrounds, and testing.
