I am attempting to find a mod fix to the issue discussed in this thread.

It was relatively easy to take away weapons from mining and research stations, and to also class them as civilian which should massively drop the AI's priority of them in battle. But I still do not see a way to outright prevent a fleet from automatically destroying them once in range as seems fleets aggro everything belonging to the enemy.

Modification of the ship_behaviors file might have an effect but it's hardly documented, if anyone has any ideas for how this could be done please speak up.
