wireless keyboard not working after returning to game from ps5 home screen

Expected Result​

Can’t control gameplay with wireless keyboard after returning from PlayStation 5 Home Screen

Actual Result​

Have to restart the game entirely in order for keyboard to work again

Steps to reproduce​

Hitting pause break (equivalent to the PS button on dualsense) and returning to the game will cause it to not recognize keyboard strokes.

Description​

Wireless keyboard is combo with mouse - no issues with mouse after minimizing the game.
Also had the issue with keyboard if I clicked the links in-game for the forums and PlayStation store.
Reloading a save doesn’t work - game needs to be restarted
