3 wifes - I am a happy man :D

wow!
When i was desperate to get my 50 years old king a new wife so he can have some sons, i didn't know this would happen!

i stopped the game on pause (so i can choose brides carefully), and offered marriage to 5-6 women in different counties.

so, when i unpaused the game, i got this screen:

then i checked in my kings relationships, and guess what - there they are! 3 living wifes!! and each of these wifes has my king as a spouse, and are in my courtyard..

now, i know i'm not a sultan but this was awesome :p~~
i'm already expecting a child from one of the wifes..

i wonder though, if i get sons from all of them, who will be "THE ONE" :D

ehhehe :D

best yet to come! so i got 3 kids till now 2 from one of the wifes and 1 from another one.. the german girl is not very fertile ;/

it's cool, seems like the oldest son is my sucessor and then the other kids.. very cool :)

i guess if i offered marriage to more women, i could end up with 10 wifes or more! :))

In my expierence with multiple wives (I know it's a bug but I'm not complaining, and I assume, neither is my king!) you can all of the pregnant and therefore you'll end up with a lot of kids with the same father and different mothers

Just out of curiousity. Does the bug only occur when you pause the game and propose multiple marriages, or also when un-pauzed?

If only when pauzed, then set the speed to the lowest setting. Problem solved.

As the answer of the AI occurs at a random point within the feasible interval, and the bug occurs when proposals are accepted at the same time, pausing the game has no influence on the issue. (Other than that it allows you to send more parallel proposals.) The only definite solution is to make only one proposal at a time.

I'm a little bit puzzled about "impossible to fix". Is it really that difficult to implement a switch that greys out the Propose marriage option when one marriage proposal is on the way?

Exactly.

Here is a good way of doing it. Propose marriage to 10 girls, hit BYZANTINE and then watch your 10 concubines, spawn a whole lot of children.
