hamachi-test...and bob seems to have not the enough fantasy to make the roster for us without it... ;)

Right, I have to go now, but the turnout was pretty disappointing.

Anyway, Ear and Mioz can definitely join me (as we had no actual host) Krisz can't and Cobjor had some hamachi problems.

I'll put the roster up sometime tomorrow
 
I can join, though I agree the turn-out was pretty poor... I hope people can bother to play the game. Hardly anyone turned up tonight and this was a 5min test. :rolleyes:
 
Right, hamachi is evil.

I install it and open it. The network button is greyout, and I cant open it. Neither can I right-click. When I press on, hamachi tries to connect to some strange "Meditation"-server, fails, and shuts down. :( :confused: :mad:
 
Right, this link is suppose to help me fix the hamachi-thing. Problem is that I can understand a st*t out of it.

Anyone got a clue on what to do? And yes, I have configured my firewall, didnt help.

Besides that, Hamachi made my comupter go berserk - it just "stopped" during "upload". Had to dislable my router, start the computer and remove hamachi to make it work again. :mad:
 
Hamachi seems to be teh Evul(!). Why do we play over Hamachi? Vnet is equally good if not better. Vnet has always worked, atleast for me. But who am I to ask, since I been out of the MP loop for a good part of a year.
 
Ill play thje game fo' sure, and i was planning omn testing with you gius a couple of dauys ago and then i got drunk today. Shit happenss.

Yeah, Hamachi is very bad tbh. But it seems a couple of players on this roster cannot play EU2 without hamachi. So, it is better that everyone uses it. A game with only people that use hamachi runs fine, but if you host in VNET and play with people that are using hamachi, and with people that arent, the game will end in a catastrophe sooner or later. For countless reasons.

Do you have a router Cobjor? If so, perhaps your router firewall needs to be deactivated.

Netherlands: Ulmschmidt

I think I've managed to give everyone a country that was in their top 3, preference has generally been given to people who turned up on time for the test and to a lesser extent on what is probably good for balance.

I will be away for the next 2 weeks, except for monday and tuesday next week, so Cobjor will have to deal with any crazy problems you people will have.

I'll set up the actual thread as soon as someone gives me a good name for the game :D
