I forgot to make a backup of my bridefinder copy before formatting my HD.:(

Can anyone point me a working link?

Thanks in advance.

Sadly, none of the old download links in the Mod section works anymore. So unless someone has one of the bride finders on their HDD they can give you, I think you might be out of luck ... or consider buying the DV expansion, it comes with an in-game ledger and bride finder :)

Whaat!? DV has in-game bride finder? Where?

In the minimap in the bottom left of the screen, there is a button between the two zoom buttons. That is the ledger. Page 5 is full of single females :)

Ah, thank you! Very useful indeed. Half of the time when playing I find myself just looking for suitable brides all over the places :).

I wonder why they didn't make a "groom-finder page" as well, for marrying off your daughters.

Yes, that would be useful too. Although maybe not so needed and essential tool.

I don't say it works for no one, but many people have reported regular crashes with the ledger, especially the bride finder. for my part it's 100 % guarantee that if i use the ingame bridefinder the game will crash after opening a few character windows, even on another computer with another OS, fresh installation, last beta patch...

I only experienced this with DVIP (though not sure it was DVIP's fault) if I opened it and scrolled back past page 6. But it was ONLY if I did it before Jan. 1st. 1067. If I waited until after that date, it worked fine.

Many thanks jordarkelf. :)

This seems to be the same bridefinder I had before, although, for some reason I now need to enter the command prompt and tipe "java -jar BrideFind2.1.03b.jar", instead of merely clicking an icon.

Am I doing something wrong or is it merely a different version thing?

That probably means that something stole the .jar association. Some unzippers do this. Reinstalling Java should fix it.
