Hey guys.. Yeah, I'm that guy who has made something pretty cool in Sketchup.. Yeah, that guy.
Sorry, just I'm good at Sketchup and this is more of conceptual thing than a model.. Unless..
1. There is some way to convert sketchup models into this game.
2. There is some way to easily convert sketchup into Blender and then into the game.
Anyway, here's the design for some New York/East Coast American style Brownstone Upper Middle Class Rowhouses:
I have been very careful to make them modular, so many configurations can be made, and ammended.. I can make some corner aspects, or different floors.
There are 4 main components of the rowhouses:
1. Basement Level
2. First Floor
3. Filler Floors
4. Top Floor.
So, this way, I can build a number of slightly different rowhouses that will create variety of different heights and colors without much extra work (it's not going to be easy, but it simplifies things)..
(This is the building it was loosely based on)
So, the problem is of course that the model was created in Sketchup.. what are the easiest work-arounds and comments/ suggestions are always appreciated.
