Workshop content not showing up in game?!

Why, and I am NOT a computer person, so please help in layman's terms if possible. I play with very few workshop items, maybe a dozen if that. Some of them are showing up in my game and some are not.

Can anyone help explain why that might be?

Have they been turned on in the mod menu?

I 'believe' they are, there is no option to turn them on or off, only an "x" out to the right of each of them to delete them. Also, some of them show up in the game and some do not.

There's actually an option to turn them on/off. If you go to Content Manager > Mods, you can see it. Same thing if you go to Content Manager > Assets

I thought so too, but I am not seeing any options to turn them on or off!

Are you sure? There should be an on/off function right below each mod.
