There's some cosmetic tweaking to be had by the way, such as renamig some divisions. It's odd to have an imperial germany with "SS-Totenkopf" panzer divisions to name an example. Also, Kriegsmarinewerft should maybe be Kaiserliche Marinewerft or how do you type it. "ae" in names to "ä" If it's not in your keyboard then here's the letters for you: äÄöÖåÅ
It's funny atleast to me seeing the name of that Finnish admiral Claes Hörölä, when it's written Horola. "Horo" is "Ho" which is another way to say "whore" in finnish. :D

Maybe add some descriptions for nations in the scenario selection menu, and more pre-built units for nations, such as big naval nations that the likes of Germany and Britain were pre- and during World War 1.

The Claes part is actually a Paradox mistake, not mine. :)

I am working on the beta when I get the time, though it is happening slowly. :)

I started playing as Mexico, which is probably the biggest industrial power in the world at the start of the game. The problem is, it's totaly undeveloped.

You start with the 6 division from Vanilla - 4 36 infantry, 2 Cavalary Division, with the same tech teams.

This is quite a bother as It's impossible to fill the tech slots that I have available, due to the fact that there are too few tech teams and the best has a skill of 5. Considering the fact that you are the main superpower, this makes little sence.

Also your six divisions are total crap, even Quebec starts with a bigger army, and you litteraly have to spam inf to catch up to them.

Then again this is a beta, so I expect that you are still in the process of working on it.

Those were just my observations, I like the mod and the whole setting so I wish you good luck. It has good potential...

The lack of tech teams for Mexico is a known problem and I will try to fix it as quickly as possible!

The lack of a army for Mexico is intentional and is based on the premise that Mexico is the ingame's version of USA (though with larger political problems). So it's quite isolationist and don't actually want to have a army at all.

Though you should be able to make Quebebc feel like an insect in comparison within a few years considering the gigantic wealth of Mexico, if you just manage to avoid the civil war. :)

I've asked for help with ministers and tech teams though it haven't been added as I haven't had time and no one has helped me with them. :(

having the same problems as sweden in a game of mine, I am barely holding off Finland!

I am thinking about cutting Finland into 2 pieces for next version to solve that. :)

They leave mainland Japan unguarded and then after conquering China (which in my game they were at war for a year and just stood there dumbstruck) just dropped a bunch of divisions and used their whole army to guard China while leaving a super stack.

Main problem with that is Paradox/AoD's AI as I haven't touched the Japanese AI.

Japan is usually able to have some kind of larger war with Australia, not sure what the reason would be if Japan don't manage any conquest (they usually fail at invading main land Australia and some islands as of the large Australian forces whom are defending, though Japan usually grabs quite a few islands)?

Oh It's going fine. I played as Germany and started my own alliance with Russia, India, Japan, Quebec, USA (I made puppet), Siam. That's all I can think of. Only problem now is I don't have anymore threats xD. After I conquered Habsburg people didn't like me. I went to war with Netherlands but just offered peace for a few of their provinces.

After that UK dow on me so i responded back with liberating Northern Ireland and Wales. While i was at war with them France and her allies dow including Netherlands so it was a long fight with them but to summarize this overly extended story I annexed Spain, Netherlands, France, California, Texas, Angola, and eventually UK. Only nation I'm at war with is Australia.

P.S. I'm having a lot of fun with your mod ;-D.
 
I was wondering why my secret weapon tech events weren't firing but I found that some world divided events overlap the tech events will there be a fix for that?

Actually I removed the secret weapon tech events as I planned to make my own tech tree. Though I always prioritized other things in the end so the new tech tree never happened. :eek:o

Will include the secret tech tree in next version if I do not add my own tech tree. In the meantime you can easily readd it by copying the content of the file secret_weapon_events to one of the AI files in the DividedEvents folder. Then just change the event IDs to 15000+ and voila, you'll readded secret weapons. :)

Suggestions: Give the Soviets 6 more militia divisions and 2 more calvary divisions. Give the Russians 3 more infantry divisions.

Hmm, did Russia annex Finland and then overgarrison it?

Can be as of large rebellionrisks in the area - will see if I can add events to cancel the rebellion in the area after a certain date.
 
my game crashed as soon as I researched Basic Machine tech will playing as SU.

oh yeah, how can the Soviet Union can last if I can't even hold them off with the starting troops? I'm forced to hide in Moscow just to be able to last long enough to even get a unit out!

Not the mod's fault I think - likely to be the game itself. I have had the game playing 30-40 times and never had any problems with the mod and there hasn't been any reports of crashes as of the mod earlier.

What error message did you get?

It wins quite a few times, though if you play on VH I guess you will have some serious problems. :)

I am working on it when I got the time, I had some people that offered to help though they haven't done anything after I told them to go ahead...
 
Well... being a good southerner, I started a CSA campaign and have wiped the USA off the map. It took a little under a month due to my 14 divisions to their 1.

I then went and blitzkrieged New England away from the UK. They sent their army and I reduced it to a total of 4 divisions. They surrendered and the CSA has the east seaboard from Maine to east Georgia. I also wrangled all of their Caribbean and South American colonies from them in the peace treaty. I think that there needs to be some kind of garrison force in New England like a militia or something to at least put up a token fight.

I must say, I am really enjoying this scenario so far.

EDIT: Also, I absolutely love the default unit names for the infantry divisions. I didn't notice it until I saw a Stonewall division and I must say that it made my day.
