Ok I did start a game as germany and defeated france. However the war goal event still said I failed, despite having all of Belgium and less than 500.000 losses.France was not occupied anymore since their peace event already fired.

Will post it today with other minor changes (for some time, GoA will be a constant work-in-progress)
For now, WW1 and WW2 are not linked unfortunately (no events for Interbellum)
But I am playing Ericafaq’s wonderful PWV mod right now, which handles historical Interbellum perfectly, so we may see some ground for collaboration in a near future!

The territories that France gets by event in Greece remained French after Germany won the war, even though they were occupied by the Central Powers. I think Bulgaria should get their cores, and the rest should return to Greece. Also, the French never actually managed to land troops in these provinces in my game (nor did any of their allies). I like the idea though, historically Greece was kinda forced to grant access to the Allies.

Thanks - should be fixed here!

Two problems with German colonies in Africa:
- After Belgian capitulation Germany can seize Congo, but leaves Uganda as Belgian colony. Germany should seize it as well to avoid yellow enclave in the middle of Africa.
- If Deutsches Kolonialreich is annexed by Entente, its provinces don't come back to Germany after Ententes capitulation (my case was UK annexing Kolonialreich and still keeping its provinces after peace treaty).

If I'm not mistaken there are still no capitulation events for Portugal and USA. In case of Portugal Germany could annex their colonies in Africa and Asia, in harsh version maybe even islands on Atlantic Ocean? Not sure about total victory over USA (which is easily achievable, as USA has very few units).

+ OTT could annex Egypt and Yemen as well after British capitulaion, it has claims on these territories.

So I checked in peace_negociations.txt (see post above):
- Belgium should definitely secede the entire Central Africa region to Germany after the reversed Versailles Treaty. Could you please provide me a savegame and/or screenshots so I can investigate further?
- The problem with African provinces under British control should now be fixed.
- OTT will now annex Egypt as well with the Balmoral Castle Treaty harsh conditions.
As for Portugal, what would you suggest?

I see that the urban areas are not in a different colour but just as plain. Or did i do something wrong ?
I have no problem with plain and urban provinces (see screenshot). Here are the map colors I am using (you can paste it in World in Flames/map/Map_1).

Ok, I've got this. Uganda belongs to German Colonial Empire and Belgium has claims on it. So when Deutsches Kolonialreich was annexed, Belgium got these provinces and later kept them. They seceded only Central Africa and Uganda lies in Eastern Africa region.

As for Portugal, maybe something like this?
- Seize Angola + Mozambique
- Seize A+M and Asian colonies
- Seize all colonies and Atlantic islands (actually leave Portugal only continental provinces in Europe)

Thanks for the new scenario :)

A few observations (playing as UK):
- the flag for Deutsches Kolonialreich is not displayed properly in the diplomacy tab (just some sparkles)
- picture for "Offensive Chit" is not displayed propeerly (Square with an X)
- event text and picture for "Coastal Submarine" event are not displayed
- decision "Create the Landship Committee" is announced as available but not shown

Edit: "Securing the Iranian Oilfields" just gives the province of Ahvaz to Raj; shouldn´t there be a land connection to the British Raj?

One more question: what surrender options do you often use with vanilla? I get the feeling that as a player, you have no incentive to ask only for mild conditions for instance.
Only the hardest conditions as there are no penalties for choosing otherwise. Uprisings, dissent hits or need to occupying forcibly puppeted countries could prompt player to think about milder conditions.

Of course role-playing is a different kettle of fish.
