Hello,

I am considering to buy the new HoI tomorrow.

1)My primary reason for buying the game would be the new Co-op mp system. As far as i understand the new system, more then one player is able to control a country. Both or even more players will have control over ALL functions for the country and they would need to trust each other for you can`t restrict the 2nd,3rd player.....please correct me if i am wrong!!!

2)I am used to Paradox network problems due to the fact that i own EU1/2,HoI1 and Viktoria.
Now,what would you think can the net code support if all players are on at least DSL?

Thank you in advance

Reicheart, it's still a bit new to pass judgement for me on how much trouble MP networking code is having, but I'd suggest that you accept and know that probably you can't safely run faster than "below normal" most of the time (especially once war breaks out).

If you are talking only a two player game (two people sharing one country) then I'd suspect with DSL you should be ok (judging that you already know HoI Original's networking limitations), however I'm still a bit concerned over support for large numbers of players.

I think we need more testing to verify if two players are running a country and one cancels a trade deal but the other doesn't, will the game get out of sync and if so are there limitations (limiting game speed to below normal or slower) we can use to avoid this problem?
