My only comment is purely non technical. I suggest you name the chat something like "Suvorov's" or "Suvorov's Bistro" or "Suvorov's Tavern". I cannot recall the exact name, but there is such a place in Rio. A wonderful place, although the food is best not eaten other than the french fries (clearly they do not care about russian-only food!).

Great place!

Which Rio is that? Also thanks on you nice comments.

Stefan, I've been meaning to ask you what is a "Referal"?

"Referal"?

How come you got one,

I do ? Where, how, when ?

and what is it for?

If you answer the above questions so I understand whet you mean I'll try to explain.

Suvorov,

The Rio I refer to is Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. The Russian place was still there a few years ago between Leblon and Jacarapegua... but last year I did not have anyone to carouse with so never got there (it is quite distant from where most of the family is in Copacabana).

On your "referral tab" I am also curious!

If you choose to go, please let me know! I can't help you with travel from anywhere except the US, but once ou get there, it is pretty important to the richness of your experience (and safety) to know people there! ~~Scott

Safety? Are you saying its dangerous to be on the streets in Rio? I'm live in Brooklyn how dangerous can Rio be?:D

Suvorov,

In New York anyone can be from anywhere and be indigenous to NYC. In Rio, they can tell if you are not from the city in a number of arcane ways (arcane to non dwellers), and having lived there I can tell you some of them. If you are a "gringo" they will know within a few moments of seeing you and if you speak even fluent portuguese, they will probably know from where in the first sentence. I lived in NYC for some time and must tell you it is a cakewalk by comparison. Just be sure to ask me what "favella" means before you go if you won't take my advice!!

Play On!
