Now i know you cant really play non-christian non-feudal states.. but what i had in mind was a sort of fantasy scenario where you could take control of an early christian estonian state. (a son of a ruler gets kidnapped by danes for example and spends his childhood in a monastery somwhere in the west.. gets civilized, returns and turns for example saaremaa, a christian state )

now would i have to make new monarch, leader and godknows what files for that or would i just need to change the statereligion (and maybe type if its implemented) of estonia to catholic?

The latter (and maybe a few other things...)

Well, possible, but only if you play them as Feudal states?

I seem to remember a long time ago that someone stated that it *was* possible to CONVERT to paganism, (Johan said this?) but that it would have severe consequences...

They're not.

You sure about that? This screenshot seems to imply that you can play as King of Genoa....

And its a saved game so he might of conquered it...

Yes, a game saved on January 1st, 1187. That's some mighty fast work, conquering Genoa, and setting up a kingdom all before the second day of the game.... :p ;)
Maybe it was a scenario started in 1066...? :p

Speaking of old screenshots, isn't it about time for a new one? It's been about a week now - perhaps you could put in a good word for us with our Liege, Lord Johan... ;) :)
I believe Johan is out getting a few well-earned beers right now, so that's not an option :)

Sergeï said we are free to convert to pagan or muslims... but this feature could be forgotten...
