I dunno if this is WAD, but the event that develops illness for a wounded character does not check whether any advanced illness is already present. So it is possible for a wounded character to get illness, have it develop into pneumonia, then get another illness, have it become worms, then get another illness, etc, as a result becoming sick to the extreme in short order. Since normally characters cannot get more than one illness, it seems somewhat unfair to wounded people.

People can always get multiple illnesses. For wounded character's it is just a bid more likely since there are two events giving the illness trait. I have seen a lot of ill, pneumonic people with worms that were not wounded in battle.

Actually Worms are an exception, as they don't prevent any future illnesses, but Leper, Pneumonia and others of their kind (are there?) do prevent future Illnesses.

EDIT: And it is rather inconsistent that wounded-in-battle characters can get every illness there is in very short order, by just being unlucky. Could it be changed so that when War Wounds aggravate, they reduce Health by one (perhaps with a chance for two) and perhaps give a chance to reduce other traits by one too? I mean this effect instead of giving Illness.

I believe this is a WAD. Old wound just means that you are more likely to catch all sorts of nasty stuff.

Also, the event engine has no way of checking whether you have already gained an illness due to your wound.
