I should probably go back and read the manual... but... I was playing as Portugal, and I had attacked the Incas and Aztecs each twice and had a stability of 0. I was going along my little Portugese business and then all of a sudden out of no where, there was one of those nasty little revolts--you know the kind, they call em 'Civil Wars'. Well, I only had one army revolt against me, and happened to be split in two units, so I was able to kill the little sucker. However, I was looking to see if it did anything to my vps, and saw a little cross and realized I was protestant! Besides that my stability jumped to 3 and my Colonial Dyn. went up 1 to 3. None of my alliances were broken and none of my relations injured as far as I can tell. I don't believe any of that happened when my country as France had its fun civil wars.

So is this normal?
