I just got Victoria, and, I was hoping to play a lot of MP with it, being a quasi-noob of EU2 MP and a pioneer of CK MP, but this is pretty pathetic. The forum is virtually inactive, with only 3 threads that have posts from today or yesterday...

Nobody's stopping you from trying nor start MP games of your own.
I posted MP specific strategy in order to try to arouse people's interest in MP. I think people might be intimidated by MP as Victoria is a complicated game to learn. When we played EU2 MP, we can take breaks as we're waiting for money to come in, another merchant being generated, or something else, unlike EU2 MP, there is often not one dull moment in Victoria MP. There is always something to do, unless you're playing Brazil or something and other players haven't fed you tech to help you along. If you play most of the European nations, your hands are going to be full pretty much all the time.
