It has been a fabulous week. My thanks to all who extended their congratulations and thanks again to @Historywhiz for the nomination.
After thinking about who I would pick for the new writAAR of the week, I realized that there was only one choice: @john trask. The reason that this author is so deserving is because:
1. The Broken Crown is a fabulous start to an amazing narrative AAR. The characters have life and complexity.
2. The author writes with a strong and beautiful voice in English, but English is their second language. I cannot write as well in a second language and do not have the courage to try. This deserves celebration.
3. This author experienced a frustrating writing setback and has promised to keep trying.
An author with a strong voice who can write well in their second language and is willing to continue writing in the face of adversity deserves your praise and attention. Congratulations, @john trask!
