Missing premused... busy elsewhere until recently, this weeks WritAAR of the Week is a member of the 3 AAR brigade. Well at least with regards to his HoI work!

His HoI AARs to date cover three unusual countries, you wont find any German or USA world conquests in any of his AARs.

Instead he proved the Italian airforce was a match for anyone, listing his confirmed kills and setting the benchmark for the MUST-HAVE airforce composition and size.
The Ancient Art of War in the Sky: An Italian Air Force AAR

Then he moved north to colder climes and took an army of four Swedish divisions, along with a small navy and airforce from Sweden. Capturing Finland, he broke through the Osterand Straits into the North Sea to conquer Vichy North Africa and Italian Sardinia. Then after receiving reinforcements he took over Europe, Balkans, Germany and then recently, almost the rest of the World.
Nordic Empire: A Swedish AAR

But perhaps his first and in my view the most creative of the three is a sublime mix of the ridiculous and downright absurd.

Imagine if you will, attempting to save Poland from the Blitzkrieg, only to have Mohammand Saeed al-Sahaf, the Iraqi information minister, teleporting back in time to help your government attempt to spin their way out of annexation. If you can imagine such a thing then you are half way to having read,
If you can imagine such a thing then you are half way to having read, I triple Guarantee you, there are no Germans soldiers in Warsaw

With three different styles for each AAR, I recommend that you scoot over and read them at your leisure. For now however, join me in congratulating IEX Totalview, The Writer of the Week.

Sir, step forwards and introduce yourself.

BTW: Nice timing with the closing post for Nordic Empire. 5months after you finished it, but just in time for your weeks glory!!:D :)

I'd like to mention the L'Emperuer AAR as well.

Well, I'm terrible at public speaking, so I won't say much. I am honored that people enjoyed the AARs I wrote. They were all a great amount of fun, and without the feedback I got along the way, I wouldn't have finished most of them. I have not been as active in HOI since I finished my Swedish AAR, but I still read the odd AAR and comment occasionally.

To answer a few common questions, yes, there was alchohol involved in the Polish AAR. The reason why the strategies I used in my Italian and Swedish AAR won't work anymore is bombers have been nerfed since 1.04 and the only reason I managed WC as Sweden was I gave myself an extra 9 years.

Victoria will be out this week, and I do plan to buy it. Hopefully once I have gotten used to it, I can write a few AARs, at least one of which should feature the CSA. Regardless, I am gratified to recieve this undeserved yet appreciated splotlight. :)

Congrats, IEX! Having enjoyed your HoI AARs enormously because of their uniqueness, I look forward to reading your Victoria AARs too. :)

He He! 2Coats must be in a good mood today....I see that he picked IEX Totalview, the man that showed me the ways of one of the best games ever...L'Empereur
...ahh, and he also wrote some HoI AARS:)

Congratulations, IEX!
:p

Btw... don't know about the HoI land, but on the EU2 AARLand every Writer of the Week is expected to talk about himself (what he does IRL, a kind of biography, etc). Not want to put a pressure here, but it would be nice to bring this tradition to the HoI Land, so the writers and readers know each other better!

I'll give you the cliff-notes version:

I'm 24, an accountant, and I work at a public accounting firm doing income taxes, estates, trusts and corporations, but no audits. I have passed the CPA, and I'll get my license in January of 2004. I got married to a wonderful woman December 29, 2001. We live in our own house in Shelby County, Alabama.

My first son was just born November 20th. I have Vicky, but have gotten to play it less than 2 hours, given how busy I've been. :) His name is Joseph Harrison, and he is the sweetest boy in the world.
