Here's a few suggestions:

RELIGION
-The "Total Depravity" Christian sect should be renamed to Augustinian or Hyperaugustinian; the Total Depravity name seems to suggest depravity is celebrated by them (which some Christian sects of the time actually did)
-"Ebionite" should be a Jewish sect; the Ebionites held to the Mosaic Covenant and laws, considered Jesus a prophet rather than the son of God, consider the apostle Paul to be an apostate, and some scholars claim to be one of the inspirations for Islam. Psilanthropism should merge with Ebionite for their similar view of Jesus.
-Another Jewish sect should be called "Nazarene", which like the Ebionites held to the Mosaic Covenant, but did consider Jesus to be the son of God, sided with Paul in the Council of Jerusalem, and believed in salvation through faith instead of salvation through works.
-I don't think "Kartvelian" should be a Christian sect; the Georgian patriarchates had no theological disagreements with Constantinople at the time.
-Since the Aquileians tried to reconcile Chalcedonians with Miaphysites, I believe the religion is redundant with Monothelitism (which was the same kind of conciliatory movement) being in the base game.
-Eutychanism and Apollinarism are Monophysite, and can therefore be considered redundant.
-"Abadite"is just another name for "Ibadi". Likewise, "Khawariji" is just another name for "Kharijite".

MAP CHANGES
-In order to accomodate the Sahara situation and bring it closer to CKII vanilla map standards, I think the Gaetulian and Garamantian tribes should be squished into a 1-province tall horizontal string of provinces, but each of those provinces should have 6 holdings to represent their wealth. An event or series of events related to the drying of the Sahara could then cut the number of holdings per province to 1 or 2.
-The Arabian Peninsula also deserves a province count reduction and a few more wastelands. Maybe even turning the Tribal characters into Nomadic ones.
-Iceland should be united under a Papar theocracy, but also receive some kind of massive income and levy nerf, to emphasize the fact that it was barely populated, if any.

THE DONATION OF PEPIN
Trigger: The Patriarch of Rome is landless, he is not a vassal of the ERE, and the ERE does not hold any province in the Exarchate of Ravenna.
The Patriarch of Rome can then get an inheritable claim on the provinces of the Exarchate of Ravenna, and ask any Nicene king to go to war to reconquer them. If he accepts and wins the war, the Pope gets the Exarchate, which becomes the Papal States and the king gets an alliance with the Pope, a massive piety boost and temple vassal opinion, a coronation (if he hasn't had one) and a diplomacy boost. This would also be a great time for Catholicism to spawn and convert all Nicene rulers and territories in the lands under the jurisdiction of the Patriarchate of Rome to Catholicism.

GOVERNMENT
CKII Imperial succession for Roman and Sub-Roman kingdoms.

Roman Solar would be 10000x better if it used the Christian/Hellenic map GFX, as right now it uses the African title icons.

i've noticed non-roman latin cultures use italian cultural gfx instead of the native ones, romano-gallic and romano-hispanic could be occitan, the british one could the celtic and etc, i don't think the romans colonized the former regions of the empire in such way that replaced the local population lol

I mean, the Franks were literally using Roman clothing styles into the 9th century. There was substantial fashion overlap and blending going on in the former provinces. And in fact Roman fashion lingered in some form or another for centuries, especially along the Mediterranean coast.

I agree but it's something that anybody can easily fix it by himself in the gamefile (as i did). Look for the "00_religions" file, scroll down to Reformed and Unreformed Roman Solar and change the "graphical culture" part to "westerngfx"

Please include this mod in WtWSMS

To quote the creator
I'm both busy and lazy, and haven't played much ck2 in the last months. If you want to help implement this, go on, i will include it. Or fork this mod and make a version with that decision and bloodline, it's fine with me.

Alternatively, if someone could make a fork that'd be great.

It's even historically accurate due to the reconstruction effort in the 600s.

I also think that the Cave of the Patriarchs would be a good addition as a Wonder.

Make Ashurian an unreformed Pagan faith so that we can reform it into Reformed Ashurian. Also, the Neo-Assyrian Empire should have alternate cultural names: Babylonian Empire for Aramean, Neo-Assyrian Empire for Assyrian or something.

Suggestions:

1- Jerusalem was never head of Christianity, Rome is still considered Primus Inter Pares by the Orthodox Church, should the Schism be mended. However if wishing to avoid the Catholic vs. Orthodox debate, Antioch would provide a neutral replacement by being part of the Three Pretine Seas (Rome, Antioch and Alexandria);

2- Each Pentarch should have a special duke/king title to represent their importance (just like Rome and Constantiniople have);

3- The Chalcedonian (or Arian it's no longer an Heresy) Church should be able to bring the other Christian Branches (Nestorian/Coptic/Insular) under its fold by holding the Pentachy Seat that said branch holds valuable and having the "heretic" religious head vassalized (unsure about the latter), this would be like the CK2Plus decisions;

4- On that note the Nestorian/Coptic/Insular Churches should also have a path to become the supreme Christian Church and turning the other Branches into heresies;

5- Latin Solar should have all its Holy Sites inside the Roman Empire Area;

6- CK2Plus system of restoring Roman Provinces;

7- A Senate in the Eastern Roman Empire acting like its Western Counterpart (Mostly Aproving the Emperor);

8- Both halves should have a decision to call the other half in defensive wars.

9- Have the Legions being connected to the Provincial governors, the only Legions the Emperor would "directly" command shold be: The Fleets, the Bodyguards and those Legions of the Provinces the Emperor holds directly (holding the title instead of a vassal). But the Emperor would have a bonus for retinue size depending of how many legions exist.

-------------//------------
(long one)

10- An Emperor should have support of the Legions, the Senate and (if still around) the Emperor of the other half. Each landed member of your Empire would have a trait militaristic (supports the legions) or bureaucratic (supports the Senate) (maybe a "neutral" trait for those that don't want to be involved). Exmples:

Case 1 (The Legions don't support you): The Legions would try and find a militaristic candidate, proclaim him Emperor and launch a civil war.

Case 2 (the Senate does't support you): The Senate would try and find a bureaucratic candidate, proclaim him Emperor and launch a civil war. The bodyguards units and fleets wold always support the Senate so you might need to disband them if the Senate doesn't support you, taking a large hit to prestige and cash, otherwise you might find yourself with a dagger in the back.

Case 3 (the other half doesn't support you): The decision in Point 8 wouldn't be available and there's a chance you could be invaded and deposed in favour of your heir (the guy with most votes in Imperial Succession).

------------//------------

11- Some Barbarians might offer help (to the Emperor and the contender) in return for land after the war, refusing to honor the agreement might lead to disastrous consequences (Odoacer II: Electric Boogaloo);

12- Ambitious Governors might try for a bid at Emperorship by themselves if they belive the current Emperor if weak;

13- Minor pretenders from different religious groups, their strenght depending of how many provinces of that faith they control;

14- CK2AGOT system for civil wars;

15- A set of laws for Senate influence, a weak Senate would be the Emperor rubber stamp (with no chance of refusing to proclaim the new Emperor), a strong Senate could be a powerful bonus or a crushing mallus depending on their rellation to the Emperor;

16- A set of Laws for the Army, a levy army would weaken the legions (and the strenght of their opposition) and decrease retinue size for the Emperor, a professional army would empower the legions and increasing retinue size for the Emperor. Strong Legions could keep the governors in check and decreasing chance of rebellion if they support the Emperor, while having the opposit effect if they don't support the Emperor.

I would like to finish my loooong essay by stating the mod developer are doing a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (can't think of another word) job. I also know that most of this points won't likely be able to be included in the mod (hopefully in CK3 ;-) ).
