A few month ago I started working on looking at past games and figuring number of wins, number of games played etc; I lost interest for a few reasons but I am now determined to finish the task. I figured making it public would be a good way to motivate me, to keep everyone from pestering about when it would be finished. :p

I have some requests:

1. Does anyone have a link to the old WW Hall of Fame/Shame thread? It has been buried for a long time, in my 2.5 years here I have only seen it once or twice and I don't think I posted in it, I would like to see it but have no interest in digging through 2+ years of OT forum threads to find it.--DONE, Thanks Avernite.

2. Has anyone else done or started anything remotely similar to this? I would love to compare notes/copy work from others to speed this up.

3. If anyone has a personal count of the games you think you have won post them here, I think it would help. I know many of you do, I have seen them in your sigs. ;)

Did you remove that link from your sig at any time? I remember it being there but last time I wanted to find that old thread I couldn't; maybe I just forgot to look in your sig.

I so far have won a total of 0 WW full games....
 
Great idea, I will post my contribution to point three somewhere this week. My count is not complete since I stopped putting wins in my sig. :)
 
Unless I lost track somewhere along the line my sig should be my big game WW track record. I've played a few Lite and Scandinavian WW games as well but those shouldn't be in the sig. Current big game's WW role is also included so if someone wants to check all my previous games and subtract earlier roles you are welcome to it... ;)

Anyway, good luck on this task! :)

You might need it since I seem to recall Ironhead saying there were a few games where the first page didn't incude a summary so he had to reread the whole thread make his list. OTOH he didn't only base his list on wins but you got points for being alive past midgame and for being on the winning side even if you died. Maybe you will have a simpler formula for your Hall of Fame? ;)

EDIT: oh, and how does this sound for a scoring system.

100 points for surviving and winning the Big game
50 points for surviving but losing the Big game
50 points for dying, but your team ends up winning the Big game
-50 points for abandoning your character in the Big game

Divide the sum of your points by the number of Big games you have played. This equals the value Y.

Then add up:

50 points for surviving and winning the Lite game
25 points for surviving but losing the Lite game
25 points for dying, but your team ends up winning the Lite game
-25 points for abandoning your character in the Lite game

Divide this sum by the number of Lite games you have played. This equals value X.

X+Y equals your Werewolf score. It is out of 150 (unless you have never played in a Lite game before, in which case it is out of 100).

By this scoring system, I have a measly 54 points. :(

See my sig, although I somewhere stopped updating it, somewhere after Ironhead's Game of WW with the first time we had surprise roles :D
 
I checked my big game winnings and I counted seven. I am doing a lot better than I thought :cool:
